Your Pain is Your Purpose.
Discover how I transformed my life
from the ground up – and more importantly…
How you can too.
Hi, I’m Oliver.
I help people build unshakeable confidence so they can walk through life with absolute conviction.
Growing up in the UK, I was raised mostly by my mother after my parents divorced. I did well in school, earned my Master’s and spent 4 years working as an engineer in London and on site in Angola.
On paper, I was “successful”. But inside I felt hollow, questioning – there has to be more to life than this?
Loneliness gnawed at me daily. I felt disconnected and hollow. But I buried it deeply. I tried so hard to be everyone’s friend but it only pushed me further away.
To rub salt in the wound, I had been single my whole life, and felt outcast because of it. I lived in fear. Scared to death of rejection and failure.
I was stuck living a life I didn’t want, so I hid my pain in addiction: video games, p*rnography, alcohol, drugs, and even exercise. My road bike kept me sane, but it couldn’t fill the deeper void inside me.

The Turning Point.
My head was all over the place. I was depressed and just existing day to day like a shell of a human being. Get up, go to work, go home, get up, go to work… Like I was stuck in an endless loop.
I remember taking way too many sick days from work. I couldn’t face myself, never mind the world. I remember a time where I didn’t leave my flat for a week after one particularly reckless night. Savage.
I kept it very well hidden, but paranoia and anxiety plagued me because of drug misuse and untreated wounds of the past. I was spiralling out of control, it was inevitable that I would eventually hit rock bottom.
I called my best friend. We spoke in depth about me quitting my job and going travelling, but I could never find the right time. There was always an excuse.
Soon, destiny would intervene and eventually, the time found me.
When I visited my brother in Australia, everything changed. He had matured more in six months of traveling than I had in four years of working in London. He had grown up. I was still a kid. It was a massive wake-up call.
Inspired, I took my newly acquired PADI Open Water certification and decided to leap into the unknown.

My Transformation Timeline

Embracing Adventure
Six months of travel gave me clarity and courage. I quit my job for good and pursued my passion for the ocean.
In two years I went from an Open Water Diver to an Instructor working in the Caribbean. It was one hell of a trip.
I finally felt alive – immersed in nature, adventure, and even my first girlfriend.
I had already grown a lot by this point. But, life had more lessons in store…
The Breakup That Changed Everything
After a two and a half year roller-coaster relationship, it exploded in a very traumatic breakup. It shattered the world I had built. I was lost, searching for meaning in the aftermath.
After the dust had settled, I discovered a book that changed my life: Atomic Habits by James Clear.
It was my lightbulb moment. It was the beginning of my self development journey.
Through many hours sitting with my thoughts, I learned to face my pain instead of running from it. My mind began opening up.
My outlook on life changed. As did I with it.
I quit drinking. I let go of gaming, p*rnography and other unhealthy distractions. Yoga, journalling and meditation became rituals for me.
I faced my deepest, darkest fears. And I came out the other side. It awoke something inside me. A fire. An inextinguishable light that would inspire me to keep moving forward.

Stepping into my Purpose.
All I ever wanted was to keep refining myself, pushing toward a better version, then a better one after that.
Until I learned the hard truth:
The happiness I had been chasing was never the goal. It was the journey itself. The highest highs, the lowest lows and everything in between.
I went through therapy. It left me running in circles. So I turned to coaching instead. It changed everything.
This is why I do what I do. Because I know firsthand what’s possible with the right guidance.
Not from someone who studied the fire.
From someone who walked through it.
Would you trust a doctor who doesn’t take their own medicine? Neither would I.
With deep experience in mindfulness and my no-fluff, no-BS style, I take an action-based approach to coaching – one that prioritises results, not just insight.
I use everything I’ve learned on my journey to guide you through yours. To help you break self-doubt and build real, unshakeable confidence – forged by standing in your fire, not running from it.
Why me?
I believe pain has a purpose. Every challenge you face holds the key to your growth, if you’re willing to unlock it.
I don’t just teach this. I live it.
Courage, combined with the right guidance, creates real results. I’m proof of that.
That’s why I became a coach, to share what actually works.
But this isn’t about me. It’s about you.
Your clarity. Your confidence. Your transformation.
If you’re ready to step into the life you want – I’m ready to guide you.
I look forward to welcoming you aboard.
